The charming setting also features a 1906 Dentzel Carousel with hand-carved farm animals, and, at the center of it’s grand staircase, the 50 foot trunk of a Douglas fir nearly 4 centuries old.
Then check into the Blue Gate Inn, a resort-type hotel for a two-night stay. Tonight, enjoy a family-style dinner at The Blue Gate Restaurant. Then end the day with a show at the Blue Gate Theatre. Over 300 shows, 100 artists and outstanding Amish Musicals, the Blue Gate is the best place for entertainment in Shipshewana. (D)
